The admissions information portal allows applicants to track their applications, accept or reject an offered university place, and download their admission letters.

In order to log in, please enter your application number (for Medicine: registration number Hochschulstart.de) plus your date of birth (no spaces or symbols). Make sure to log out before leaving the site to protect your privacy.

- IMPORTANT NOTICE -

Local enrolment will be discontinued from Monday, 16 March. Please send your matriculation documents by e-mail (and any required documents by scan as PDF file) to immatrikulation@uv.rub.de.
If you would like to enrol in a subject with restricted admission for the summer semester 2020 and your deadline ends in the next few days, please apply for an extension of the deadline at the Admissions Office (admission@uv.rub.de) by e-mail and please also note the information on https://www.ruhr-uni-bochum.de/de/haeufige-fragen-zum-coronavirus.

NO CONFIRMATION OF ADMISSION?

If there are still vacancies in degree courses that are subject to restrictions after admissions are closed, those places are allocated in a random selection process. Applicants who wish to be considered in the selection process have to submit their applications by specific deadlines.
